Man and animal have in common the need to create reference points in space: places. This to dominate, reassure or protect themselves better. While an animal needs only a few primary signs, in order to respond to all his personal complexity and cultural diversity, humanity has recreated a multitude of places able to meet its ever-growing needs. The primary role of the architect is to make his knowledge available in order to recreate these places, to confine and reorganize them in harmony with man, nature and the environment.
Ercole, their dog, has a habit of drinking from the hollow log of an old olive tree in the garden. His is a simple and spontaneous action, the result of the eternal balances of the natural world.
Wowl becomes a discreet domestic presence, a sign of the constant alliance with the nature that nurtures us.
