A few rules before you post:
1) Your post has to be legitimate content No spam, no just promoting your business and no badly worded ads for Viagra, please.
2) Create the post as a 3rd party Write about it as if you were writing about someone else and not yourself (e.g. “We” not “I”, etc.).
3) Make sure it’s your own content It doesn’t have to be your own work, but please no plagiarizing. And chances are if it’s been on another major design blog we have probably already heard of it. We’re looking for help finding the newest, freshest and most cutting edge design finds out there.
4) Include photos and relevant links! Both of these items will give your post a better chance of being published. Photos can be a maximum of 600 pixels wide and any products or projects you talk about should have the correct link included.
5) Be sure to write your name at the bottom of the post, and link it to your website if you want. If published, your post will show up as “guest blogger,” so if your name is not included it will look anonymous (which is okay, too).
6) Your content will be subject to our acceptance and to our editing, so please only submit content if you’re okay with us giving it a once over first.
7) Need a great example of a post? You got it! Check out: Bold Colors :: Modern in LA. It has a catchy title, big and bold color photos (that are the maximum size of 600 pixels), engaging text, poses a question to readers, provides correct links and even correctly attributes images.
**This is your best chance to get something posted. The more that you are able to make this look like a real post and NOT an advertisement, the more likely it will actually be posted. All of these posts are considered drafts that will be reviewed by 2Modern and it is completely up to our discretion to publish something or not. Please do not post about the same subject multiple times or contact us to inquire about the possibility of it being published.
