Manish Arora’s Color-Frenzied Parisian Flat
Architecture & Interiors
Fluorescent orange doors, a pink claw foot tub, and turquoise radiators are not for the faint of heart. But then, neither, presumably, is the famously fickle world of fashion design, which is where Manish Arora blithely honed his fearless dance with color. The Indian-born, Paris-dwelling clothing designer resides in the kind of bespoke apartment that would give self-described minimalists a fatal case of hives—and that’s fine with Arora, who turns the tables on monochrome fetishists by confessing, with no trace of irony, “I’m scared of too much white.” Which, in the end, may be this color-audacious designer’s most daring statement of all.

“I’m scared of too much white.”?
I’d rather say “I’m scared of too much color.”
