A Glassy Green Outdoor Shower
Architecture & Interiors
Outdoor showers have the paradoxical allure of being both primitive and decadent—at once able to channel a simpler time while symbolizing modern day indulgence. A makeshift outdoor shower, cobbled together with garden hose and nozzle can have its pleasures, but a full fledged outdoor bathing experience requires something a bit more deliberate.
This blissfully beautiful outdoor shower, with its distinctly Mediterranean good looks, was designed for a home in Sweden—proving that Nordic tastes don’t always run along the lines of pale hues and blonde wood. Swedish designer Richard Lindvall used Italian Bisazzas L’Elba glass mosaic tiles and copper coated base and shower to ensure that the shower blends seamlessly into the home’s “exotic non-typical Swedish surroundings.” And who could fault this outdoor exoticism as backdrop for indoor Panton understatement? Not us!

Perfect marriage between the shower and the surrounding. Nailed it.
Any recommendation’s on the shower head? Manufacture or types?
Thank you,
Christian

Hi Christian. We’re not experts on shower heads, but do consult the architect’s website for more production information: http://richardlindvall.com/interior-design/#outside-shower. Good luck!
