Flower Explosion
Art & Design
Intact flowers are so passé; for a real Mother’s Day floral arrangement, try Exploded Flowers by Singapore artist Fong Qi Wei. Wei, a conceptual photographer, deconstructs flowers—leaves, stamen and all—reconstructs them into something approximating their original form, and then photographs them for wholly original fresh flower arrangements. The photos are available as limited edition prints, and will last a lot longer than anything delivered by a florist.
