Fibonacci-inspired Sideboard

Categories: Modern Decor + Objects

Although Fibonacci developed his number sequence, and its ensuing spiral, many centuries ago, the magical sequence is still fresh and functional as an eye-catching piece of furniture. Reinterpreting the spiral’s geometry into cabinets, drawers, and open shelves, Fibonacci’s “whirling rectangle diagram” becomes a statement of refined beauty and warmth.

The cabinet, designed by Daniel Rudolph for R Modern, utilizes warm wood, stainless steel and an accent color in the nook to create a furniture design that is sure to start a conversation.
