Continuing with our trend of choosing architectural firms that live and work in locations that are considerably cooler than where we are right now, today’s modern eye candy comes courtesy of Alaska-based Mayer Sattler-Smith. We are really loving the work from this firm. There’s such a juxtaposition between the industrial and natural landscapes where these really simple, stripped-down modern structures are being built. These literally might be some of our favorite photos we’ve seen of architecture in awhile. They’re just so…accessible. And a little je ne said quoi, too.
