To Wear Or Not To Wear

Art & Design

That’s the name of a new store on featuring the work of Jamie Geller Dutra.  Jamie, an artist from the Ithaca, New York, produces modern, original hand-painted scarves and works of art on paper.

The scarves are generously sized and can also be used as table runners or wall-hangings.

The unframed expressionist paintings are done on 140 lb. watercolor paper with water soluble pigment dyes and paint. They range in size and price from the A Hint of Springtime Painting (above) 17×17 3/4", $45 to the Big and Bold Abstract 50×50" at $350.

Jamie began her career at Raymond Loewy Associates in the
department of interior design. She is also the daughter of artist
Shirley Morris Geller and Modernist architect Andrew Geller.
