States United

I just "interneted" (patent pending) my way to beauchamping on Etsy and there are some really sweet prints on there. I love the States United print...

Originally this project was titled Heartland. Then States United. Then Heartland. States United. Heartland. States United. Heartland. And finally...States United. Although i suppose it could also be called "We The People", because when i look at it now, i see faces in Alabama, Illinois, Wisconsin and a few other states.

Each print is handmade, signed and numbered (in a series of 175). A xylene transfer is like a screenprint, but without the screen, and the artwork is hand-transferred inch by inch over a long hour. Each piece is an original, slightly different from the last. The paper stock is a 90lb, cream colored, 100% rag (cotton) sheet with 2 deckle edges and measures 22 x 30 inches.

Urban Gnomes for your Garden

Vitamin Living are featuring some pretty cool little garden gnomes, that would look great in any environment, inside or out! Inspired by London's wide ranging expanse of street art, these little guys stand 21cm tall and are made of fine bone chine in the UK.

Not quite your traditional folklore gnome, but super sweet all the same! I love that street art is able to cross into modern design.

Heavenly Match

I love peanut butter & jelly time and I love lazing around on the couch! Now I can give homage to my favorite food while napping on the couch without making a mess. I've tried to nap with an actual peanut butter & jelly sandwich and trust me... these are waaaay better than the real thing.

Two Pillow set includes one slice of Creamy Peanut Butter and one slice of Grape Jelly, each on White Bread.

Getting them for that perfect couple that's just made for each other too? For an additional $10 I can hand embroider a name on each of the top crust bread slices. Check out the last photo to see an example. To add this just complete checkout and payment and note it in the "Message to the Seller" along with the names and I'll send you a paypal invoice for the $10 embroidery fee.

Made from Eco-Felt (100% recycled Plastic bottles!) Each Pillow measures 16" Tall by 15" wide (41cm x 29cm). Machine wash cold with like colors then tumble dry on low.

The condiments featured are completely hand drawn so please allow for minor differences from the pillow pictured. But hey, that's the magic of handmade!

Frank Lloyd Wright and the LEGO brick

Lego

You've seen those amazing LEGO sculptures here and there crafted by talented LEGO artist but now you too can sculpt works of art..or at least architecture just like Frank Lloyd Wright! The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation announced today that The LEGO Group is now the exclusive licensed manufacturer of Frank Lloyd Wright Collection® LEGO Architecture sets.

The LEGO Group and Adam Reed Tucker of Brickstructures, Inc. officially introduced the LEGO Architecture line in 2008. The line currently consists of six buildings – now including two of Frank Lloyd Wright’s most famous and recognizable buildings, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and “Fallingwater.”

With models developed in collaboration with architects, LEGO Architecture works to inspire future architects, engineers and designers as well as architecture fans around the world with the LEGO brick as a medium. Builders of all ages can now collect and construct their favorite worldwide architectural sites through these artistic replicas.

Both exclusive Frank Lloyd Wright LEGO Architecture sets contain booklets that feature traditional building instructions along with exclusive archival historical material and photographs of each iconic building.

The LEGO Group will release the first of the LEGO Architecture Frank Lloyd Wright Collection® sets at the opening of the Frank Lloyd Wright Exhibit: From Within Outward at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum on May 15, 2009.
