Thomaspaul has released two new designs in their tablewear collection! The Portland collection includes the Portland Dinner Plate, Portland Tray, and Portland Coaster Set. This design is inspired by the lush forests and cosmopolitan nature of the city itself, and is at home on a picnic blanket or a dining room table. The items in the Luddite collection (which include the Luddite Beaker, Luddite Tray, and Luddite Dinner Plate) are inspired by the idea of turning back the clock and focusing on a simpler way of living.
This is the new packaging of Coca-Cola. A can without any color, just the aluminum shine of the can. The letters and logo are stamped directly on the metal. So this packaging is just 100% aluminum, 100% recyclable.
Let's say the truth... this is just a concept, is not real yet. An idea by Harc Lee. Ok, let's say the truth again... other cans with colored labels, also are 100% recyclable, but without any color it's less contaminating the process of create a new Coca-Cola for you.
I think is a very good idea. Specially, because the logo of this famous drink, it's so well known in the whole world, that it doesn't really need any color.

Wow... I'd never imagine this solution before. But is so creative, beautiful and practical, that is impossible to not share it with you. The responsible people of this underground spiral stairs and wine storage place are Spiralcellars, from UK. They says in theirs webpage that a project like this will be ready on five or seven days.

Thanks to the fine folks over at over Cakehead Loves Evil, I will now be haunted by images of baby faced pears. Apparently a Chinese farmer has been playing around with growing pears in the shapes of Buddahs for a few years now. They are grown by encasing the pears in a plastic mold as they grow on the tree! I just love the pictures. Maybe next they will make apple shaped oranges...a girl can dream.
These sterling silver creations inspire me to pull out the linen and yes indeed let them eat cake! Gorgeous hand crafted silver cake servers, spoons, tongs, stirrers and more. Janet Torelli conjures up images of cocktail and dinner parties my parents used to have with all the wonderful accoutrements.
