From Umbra, a House-Shaped Humidifier
Modern Decor
If awards for cuteness alone were handed out, the Casamista portable humidifier from Umbra, with its house-shaped bottle cap, may win a bushel of prizes. But it has, thankfully, functional merits as well. Casamista, designed by Alan Wisniewski, fits standard water bottles, and goes to work when powered with batteries (not included) or USB cable (included). A water filtering straw sends water through tiny pinholes under the “house”, which then generates steam through its “chimney,” gently humidifying dry indoor air, all the while infusing a room with a touch of whimsy. And for a more aromatic experience, Casamista is receptive to essential oils, too.
