How could we not be impressed by the old-world elegance of these wedding invitations, designed by the Charleston letterpress shop Sideshow Press? Created for a literary-minded couple who chose the Boston Public Library as their wedding venue, Sideshow created a book-bound invitation with gold leaf details derived from the library’s Renaissance-esque 19th Century architecture. But it’s the suite of envelope liners that steals the show: sumptuously illustrated flowers, unique to each invitation, cut from the pages of vintage books. Pretty romantic, we’d say.
