The travel bug, we’re happy to say, needn’t always be assuaged by a journey to the earth’s far corners. Just 640 miles from the coast of North Carolina (and a mere 2.5 hour flight from the shores of New York City), Bermuda can do the job quite nicely, thank you. A few languid days on the island—amidst its preposterously turquoise waters, impossibly lush vegetation, and disarmingly cheerful locals—may well feel a world away; its exuberant color and leisurely pace offering renewal and transcendence, and cinematic beauty in most every corner.
