Phone Design, in Retrospect
Retro design enthusiasts, take note. No, technically, it’s not an exact replica, since the dial’s been replaced by push buttons, and there’s that redial option, too—but still. British brand Wild and Wolf’s 746 Telephone is an updated version of a telephone model released by the UK Post Office in 1967, and now recognized as an icon of British industrial design. It’s available in 4 different color options, but we find this unusual blue, red, and cream combination to be particularly inspired.
