It’s not just the lovely colors on these Terry Rosen cushions that caught our attention—though, admittedly, the hues seem pitch-perfect for this time of year—but the striking textile patterns. Rosen, a multi-faceted artist (her collages were featured on this blog recently), began her career as a fashion illustrator, and we can see why. On these pillows, Rosen uses a chain-and-link motif—inspired by a collection of vintage costume jewelry bracelets—to great esthetic effect, offering us choices that range from spare (single broken strand) to Baroque (all-over variety pattern). Five different designs in eight color combinations comprise the series, and each, in its own way, is a jewel.
