We’ll admit a we were a bit flummoxed by this aluminum and leather ruler by Lee Jung Woo of Seoul-based EK Design at first. But when we realized that the flaming orange leather merely acts as a protective sheath into which the ruler can be rolled up and stored or transported, we said, why not? Alas, it’s only available in metric measurements, though an inch-based version is promised soon.
