The Italian design factory Alessi has released some tantalizing snapshots of its new spring/summer collection. Among the highlights are Acquarello bowls, a dinnerware collection with a delicate concentric pattern, designed by Guido Venturini.
But the star of its spring/summer release is undoubtedly Mu, the flatware line desinged by the Japanese architect Toyo Ito. Distinguished by a hexagon-shaped handle inspired by the shape of chopsticks, Mu (hexagon, in Japanese) complements Ku, the porcelain table service he created for Alessi in 2006.
