When a tool and hardware look this refined, actually putting them to use may be beside the point. The hammer, a creation of the Seattle design studio, Iacoli & McAllister, is made of solid brass, and, presumably, is a working tool (though who’d be silly enough to bang anything with it?). The nails, crafted from copper, are purely decorative (for hanging nothing heavier than jewelry), and the brainchild of Brooklyn-based Winsome Brave.

These are beautiful! (A brass hammer does not make sparks. There are times when that is critical.)
