Glass Act

Sure, we admit that only someone under the influence of too many cocktails would spend more than $1,300 on a cocktail shaker, but then again few cocktails are shaken inside a jewel-hued work of glass art. The sparkling creation of the Istanbul-based glass artist Felekşan Onar, this faceted container is blown by mouth, cut and polished by hand, and topped with a gleaming silver-plated brass strainer and cap. Befitting its preciousness, it’s available in two telling colors: sapphire, above, and amethyst.
