Ethical Jewelry from Ute Decker

Categories: Fashion + Trends, Sustainability

Fair trade gold and recycled silver may not be common terms in the jewelry business, but that isn’t stopping the German jewelry designer Ute Decker from building her reputation around sustainable and ethical practices. These dazzling “arm sculptures” are crafted from recycled and ethically sourced silver and gold—and judging by how dazzling they are, one can only hope other designers follow her cue.

  1. Stunning and arm sculpture is a great description.

  2. Dealing in antiques, I am all for recycling silver and reusing the precious metal. These silver pieces are unusual but appealing.
