Located in the heart of the historical area of Baixa, Lisbon, Portugal, the building that this home is in, sits at the corner of Rua dos Fanqueiros and Rua da Conceição.
The minimal design of this refurbished space is really a gem…there aren’t a lot of colors, and when colors are used, they are sparse and powerful, as seen in the thin, sleek bench with the green in the photo above.
The materials in this space are quite rich, from beautiful tiles, to marble, to a wooden ceiling. Furnishings are chosen based on how they will go with a minimally designed space, but also chosen for their earthiness and richness of feeling.

I think that the room looks good at table height, but the lack of colour above that point makes it feel too cold, especially with the high ceiling.

I agree with the comment from Chris the room looks stark but some good art work would really pop in a kitchen like that.
The counters and flooring are very nice.
