Easy Modern Holiday DIY: Snowflake Doilies

Spotted the picture to the left while browsing Dos Family blog and was floored. What a simple idea we had never thought of before! While doilies themselves tend to be considered a grandma craft and more vintage than modern, when framed in round embroidery hoops of all sizes and hung up in an arrangement, the total composition becomes quite modern, and the perfect element to add to a dining room or living room for a cheery, all-white and off-white holiday arrangement. And since doilies can be found in vintage stores and on Etsy on the cheap and embroidery hoops are quite cheap as well, you have a really stunning holiday DIY that doesn’t cost a lot of dough (or involve glue!).
