Time for another rousing game of “Which one looks best?” where we pick a particularly wonderful and graphic item, and ask you to give your opinion of which item should complement it. It’s all based off of opinion, of course, and it’s all just for fun, but we also love hearing all of your ideas and why something should go together and not.
Today, we chose Gandia Blasco’s Lepark Wool Rug. It’s beautifully modern and abstract — lots of uneven stripes — but it’s also a bit busy. There are lot of colors in this piece and also a lot of energy and movement. Imagine this in your living room. In front of it is a wall — and that wall needs a credenza. Would you go with Skram’s contrast-y Lineground Sideboard? Or perhaps Eastvold’s Mid-Century Modern-inspired Elko Credenza? Or would you fight pattern with pattern and insert an Iannone Design Walnut St. Graphic Console in there?
You choose!

If these are the only choices, then the Elko Credenza because it’s the least busy of the three. But the legs are a bit much.
Which would you choose?! http://www.2modern.com/Consoles-Sideboards
I would choose Lineground-Sideboard. The rug is busy with color so I need dark color sideboard to complement it. Btw….love the rug so much!
Great choice!
