Amphidromous Rectangle: Minimal Renovation
Architecture & Interiors
Minimal spaces — I mean the really, really minimal spaces — don’t quite do it for me. I enjoy their clarity and unclutteredness, for sure, but they sometimes tend to lack warmth to me. Not this space. Though it lacks in a lot of elements, it certainly makes up in ingenuity of application, material, technology and style.
A renovated guest space / incubation office located in Hyogo, Japan by Jun Murata and photographed by jam.
Just really fun elements in this, like the lights along the top of the ceiling, the leaning art, the oddly placed plants and more.
What do you think about this space? Too minimal or just right? Let us know!
