More Dream Homes: 100 Inspirational Interiors

Trends & Events

Like looking at gorgeous interior spaces? Like getting inspiration from those spaces? Like just seeing how other people live? Then you’ll love today’s book up for giveaway, “More Dream Homes: 100 Inspirational Interiors” by Andreas von Einsiedel and Johanna Thornycroft.

As the title might suggest, this is a follow up to the wildly popular “Dream Homes,” also published by Merrell. In this hefty book, you’ll find a stunning 800 photographs by world-renowned interiors photographer Andreas von Einsiedel illustrating 100 interiors of all sorts of shapes, sizes, colors and styles.

Johanna Thornycroft does a great job of briefly highlighting why each space is unique and gives it that certain je ne sais quoi that you’re probably going to want to steal for your own home. Divided into five thick sections — Classic, Eclectic, Country, Contemporary and Opulent — there’s no doubt you’ll find something you love and want to steal.

I love the fact this book covers several design themes. My style of decorating will typically lapse two and sometimes three styles.

Just moved into a remodeled mid-century mod designed 41 years ago by A.B. Swank. Would be a great book to reference for the design of pool we are putting in.

I am cuckoo over design books. I think I might have to add another room to the house if I get another one. But then, at least I’d have ideas if I win, right? lol…

Seems like a really nice book to get some inspiration from! One of my friends used to have a copy of the first book at home and it really was a joy flip through those beautiful homes.

I came upon this blog quite by accident and so happy that I did. The book looks inviting and I would be most interested in the country and modern sections of the book for my clients here in the Midwest
