We love Heath Ceramics! They are one of the top design brands today simply for their ability to always stay true to their aesthetic vision, which is to bring modern tableware design to folks that is accessible, simple and with a great, handmade look! We always get excited when they announce a new collection, and today is no different! Their Summer ’12 collection is a stunner, filled not only with some gorgeous new colors for this season, but also with some surprising details that are charming us completely. Did you see that subtle pattern in the cork toppers of those tiny containers?! More.
“The color palette of California Poppy, Grapefruit and Birch interact with the clay body (which becomes a color in this season). Clay is exposed at defined points on many pieces, either towards the neck of a vase or base of a bowl, for example, for an overall effect of juxtaposing a warm, traditional, grounding color with a new vibrancy of summer. The collection also sees matte glazes continuing over the edge or rim of many pieces, lifting the eye with a burst of saturated color. New items of note: Containers with screen-printed cork stoppers (part of a desk accessory set, Condiment bowls and Galbraith & Paul table runners in two custom prints.” This line is only available through October 1st, so snatch some up!
