Interiors: Hot Paper Restaurant

Architecture & Interiors

Wow wow wee! We love when a restaurant does such a stellar job with its interiors, and Hot Paper in Tczew, Poland sure took its name literally. We just love the crazy cool/bright designs on the wall: an awesome modern purple color lit from behind and mixed with old-timey-looking newsprint wallpaper all cut out in a lighting-bolt, zig-zag way. It’s quite bold and quite yummy.

The rest of the furnishings are kept minimal in the dining room, but we love that they carry plenty of the design’s elements throughout the space. Isn’t that cut-out cabinet kind of cool?! And the light fixtures in here are real good-looking. While it might be a bit of a stretch to suggest you create wall cut-outs and back-light them, it might be kind of fun to recreate the pattern on a wall in your home with wall paper or even just paint. Would look dynamic in a small space like a bathroom or powder room. This space was created by Wamhouse and finished last month.

What do you think about the strong interior look of Hot Paper? Too bold or kind of cool? Let us know!
