An architecture and interiors firm in Austin, Clayton & Little is bowling us over with not one project, but many of their residential spaces, that feature inspiring interiors that are a mix of modern and comfy and have us wanting to copy! The project we’re focusing on today that has us drooling is their W.H. Davis House project. Bright and bold, modern yet traditional, it’s an enviable mix of styles.
“Charles Newning’s Fairview Park neighborhood and the Travis Heights neighborhood contain most of the remaining historic residential structures in the Greater South River City planning area. Remaining historic homes include Victorian-era structures with gingerbread trim, Craftsman-influenced bungalows, and Prairie School influenced houses. Many houses have gabled or hipped roofs and deep porches. One of these houses is the W.D. Davis House. The project consisted of a south dormer to enlarge attic space for new bedrooms, addition of a new gable to the east for a Master Suite and a renovated kitchen.”
What do you think about this space!?! Love, right?
