It looks like Claude Collins-Stracensky is one of those artists who can hardly keep up with his imagination. Spanning everything from photography, to objects to exhibits, there’s one thing all of his art pieces have in common: awesomeness. You could also say his work has a very decidedly scientific, observing angle to it.
We’re really feeling his “Untitled, Distiller/fountain” project, located permanently in Joshua Tree, California. It’s a “glass Obelisk that produces distilled water through vapor distillation.” Love that there is science involved. Love how elegant and Egypt-y it is. Love the implications that something scientific and helpful could also be aesthetically pleasing. More of his work here.
