McDonald’s in France is getting a new architectural identity with contemporary white counter balancing with fun colors as well as birch wood plywood, sheet metal and concrete.
Patrick Norguet, chosen for the project took into account new technical and sociological constraints of Micky D’s agenda, returning to its primary roots of a family restaurant. This pilot project is in Villefranche-de-Lauragais restaurant 40 km from Toulouse. Space, sound, comfort, acoustics with almost futuristic twist are all part of the appeal. Seems the public response was a success and 6 more locations are to follow.
