If it seems like we lean toward modern, abstract paintings and art or modern photography (usually portraits or landscapes), you wouldn’t be far off. We love those types of art pieces tremendously. But we also enjoy another type of art, folk, and another type of art, modern folk art!
Okay so maybe you wouldn’t necessarily characterize Ryan Schneider’s work as proper folk art, but it’s got such a great color palette! Love the peeks of neon that balance with other strong bold colors. But it’s also the details in his work that are really special. Love the wood grain that makes a frequent appearance. The patterns that he incorporates into the backgrounds are so fun. Also the wacky subject matter is refreshing! More here.
