Live Modern: 28 Black Hawk by Spore Architecture

Architecture & Interiors

Alright, first we have to admit that we don’t love that giant “28” on the side of this residential home. It’s just a little too distracting for us. However, it’s one tiny complaint next to a pile of “oohs” and “ahhs” that we feel over this architecture. As you might have imagined, we love its setting: it makes one wonder if this piece of modern architecture really exists out in the middle of that beautiful nowhere like that or if it’s photoshopped. If it’s real, that view is the BOMB.

Also love the surprising color palette of the exterior. It’s youthful and kind of jarring compared to rest of its surroundings. The shape is nice, too; we like that big covered carport. And all those fun windows, big, small and random, are definitely a fun edition to the facade. By Spore Architecture and located in Livingston, Montana.

What do you think? Do you like its look and its setting?

Thank you for posting the Blackhawk home on your blog. Yes, the setting and views are actually that spectacular… no Photoshop cheating done here! It was our first design/build spec home, so it was an exciting undertaking indeed.

Good to hear that that’s really what that looks like! Ahhh to live in a setting like that and it be real! So amazing.

is it just me, or should the “28” have been done in the bright colour to really pop ? i think that would have made it even cooler !!
