The folks at worshop/apd sure know how to create a modern space that is the complete opposite of sterile and boring. This seriously might be a favorite interior that we’ve seen yet. There’s just so much wonderful color and personalization to this space; you really get that these designers worked very closely with the owners to create a space that would work on all levels for the people living in it and be something exciting for guests and strangers to see, too.
Love that the color comes from the furnishings, art and built-ins and not from the walls; that really makes the whole space feel really light and airy we think. And the furniture was chosen really carefully to both be, you can tell, stunning visually but also comfortable for humans to use. It’s a 1300 square foot apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. What do you think about how the color is used in the space? How does this space feel to you? Let us know!

I love the bold, colorful chairs. Thanks for sharing!
Aren’t they so wonderful?!! I know you’re supposed to stick to neutral furnishings in case you ever want to update color palettes but this is pretty rock star.
