You know I try not to get too personal online in the blog—this is about modern design, after all—but when I came across the photography of Ursus Wehrli I had to speak up. See, I like things in order. I like my pantry organized to precision. I like a clean car. I like when things are color coded. I very much like office supplies. Artist Ursus doesn’t blame his photography, where he orders things that are usually found in order, on having OCD, but rather, on being Swiss, who he says are “only happy when things are in order.” We’re not saying the whole world should be reordered, but a little order from now and then is good for everyone. He’s got a new book out called “The Art of Clean Up” with more cool photos. As spotted on NPR.
