This is a home on the coastline of Tenerife, the largest and most populous island of the Canary Islands. No doubt living in the Canary Islands is already a tropical paradise, but this stunning house makes it also a tropical and modern place to live. Gulp! The views of this modern home are stunning, and mostly because the design mind of Arsenio Pérez Amaral understood that this home had to be beautiful, but also not overwhelm its surroundings. Some descriptions of its physical elements taken from Arkinetia Architecture Blog:
“La Casa del Sol Garden consists of a piece of concrete and glass on a wooden platform on the edge of a cliff with a spectacular view over the coast of Tenerife. The rooms and service spaces are located in a parallel-piped volume and then in another double-height volume where the studio-kitchen is located, making up a single volume in the form of “L.” In the basement is a gym with separate access, with a glass wall to take advantage of views. All exterior and interior volume is concrete. The facades are fully resolved with continuous glass enclosures, protected by wooden shutters in the bedrooms.” Very beautiful.
What do you think about this home? A tropical and modern dream or a tropical and modern bore?
