An amazing cantilever house in the countryside of Lithuania by architect G. Natekvicius. The focus of the house gives the feel of a wooden ship moving across the green landscape. Lithuanian architect Natkevičius tells us about his fireplace shaped cantilevered modern house in Utriai built for a family to enjoy the sight of vast expanses of the green lands that surround it. An interview with the architect can be found in Edition29 ARCHITECTURE Issue 007.

Really beautiful house !I like open spaces, the garage is simply beautiful and original !
I love cantilever houses. I wait till builders get new better materials – nano technology. Then cantilever architecture becomes much more popular.
