This glass house in a residential neighborhood of Suzuka-shi, Mie, Japan is not a residence, but the ‘Isoyama Dispensing Pharmacy’ designed by the Osaka-based architectural firm SPACESPACE. Recessed from the street with glass and white steel, this ultra modern structure stands out amongst wood sided homes. Single story, the extended flat roofline is held up by pillars. The design utilizes a floral motif throughout on the floor and ceiling as well as the column form to the pavement patterns outside signaling parking positions. Minimalistic, clean, white, transparent, with a reception desk and seating make it seem somewhat clinical and efficient, a good message to their patrons.
Have an infinitely modern day!
