Loving this house in Fukui, Japan by Osaka studio TOFU Architects. They have such neat details that we haven’t ever seen before. From the outside it seems like a normal, run-of-the-mill (though lovely) modern home. But inside, natural wood walls hug you in warmth, while other materials let you know you’re in a home designed by people who cared about the details. There’s probably not a lot of room for windows, but they did their best, and views are sparse but lovely. An interesting hole in one of the floors reveals views of the floor below. We like a lot.
