Awesome, Popular Post: Loft Lloydkwartier

Architecture & Interiors

Your friendly blogger is taking two days off! Enjoy some of this summer’s most popular posts: Eeep! We’re so stunned by this loft apartment in the Netherlands! It’s proof positive that a small or simple space does NOT have to be boring; in fact, when you think outside of the box and get creative, you can create a space that is fun, sassy and personal, all with just a few simple design elements. So what’s making this loft by Liong Lie Architects so rocking? Well, the rainbow wall/awesome storage unit ain’t hurting. Definitely all this built-in storage probably makes for a clean, uncluttered space due to everything having a very neat place to live. We love how they combined a bold, show-stopping element like the rainbow wall with an over-sized, natural stone material for some of the flooring and walls. It makes for a far out, 1970s kind of feel. Exposed beams, wood tones and a simple furniture plan completes this awesome look

What do you think about this space?! Let us know!

I would never think I’d like a floor like that but I love it!

Love the use of blights colors to contrast with white background. Addition, the vertical wood strips breaking up the light to create a interesting shadow pattern. Very playful design.
