Live Modern: House in Petrópolis

Architecture & Interiors

Architecture can sometimes blend skillfully with a landscape, melding with its surrounding until you can hardly tell where one begins. But sometimes, you’ve just got to take a white square cube and stick it in a whole lot of natural green grass. With a back drop of happy, serene forest, the white modern cube is formidable and stark, but not altogether unfriendly. So as not to be too serious, a large privacy wall shows up in a hot, young, neon green, really setting this up to be a fun piece of architecture. Located in Brazil. Created by José Kós and Márcia Duarte. More here.
