Food/Design: Rucula

Categories: Architecture + Interiors

Liking the rustic, old-timey and modern look to this restaurant in Brooklyn, New York, called Rucula. An Italian restaurant, there’s a whole heck of a lot of wood that definitely lends a sort of Italian farmhouse kind of feel. ┬áBut, there’s also an urban feel that comes through with the exposed brick. Adding yet another layer is the old-fashioned antique feel, like with the chandelier and the gatework on the windows. All in all you feel transported to another place and time, and isn’t that really what modern design is all about? More here.

What do you think about this look? Does this give inspiration to your own place? Let us know!
