It’s about time we showed off some more glass art on the 2Modern blog. An art form that’s been around for quite some time, it’s unique in that it takes more than just a lot of skill to master, it takes a taste of danger and a tolerance of heat! It also takes an amazing ability to take raw materials, melt them, and understand what to do to shape them so that when they cool they become the art piece you intended. Leigh Taylor Wyatt is totally rocking that glass art, y’all. Currently in Austin, Texas, Leigh’s spent a large portion of her life training and working next to other fine glass artists, honing her style into the beautiful work she makes today. Functional and nice to look at, we love the color palettes she chooses for her glass vessels. Couldn’t you just see one of these inspiring a modern color palette for an interior space?! We could. Check out more of her beautiful work here.
