How did we miss this when this project first published? We’re not entirely sure, but we’re so grateful it has come across our eyeballs today. Partly because it is stunning, but also because it’s exactly the sort of space we’ve been dreaming of escaping to. For this personal blogger, beaches just aren’t my thing. Neither is a lot of sun or people. A small modern space in a secluded forest, now that’s for me. Doesn’t this house in Mar Azul, Buenos Aires, Argentina fit my idea of an escape perfectly?! Working towards preserving as much of the existing lot and its trees as possible, architects Martín Fernández de Lema and Nicolás F. Moreno Deutsch did a stand up job creating a small home full of natural materials, lots of views and a sparse but comfortable style. As first spotted on Arch Daily.
