Claire Falkenberg’s artwork is haunting us right now. Ever since spotting it a few days ago, it’s stayed with us. Her pieces are just so ethereal and hypnotic. You’re not quite sure what you’re looking at but you also feel a familiarity with the pieces. These are large, collaged C-print photographs that she partially occults with fields of oil paint to create her unique aesthetic.
