Bubble Chandelier by Shaun kasperbauer

We love the look of this light fixture by Brooklyn based furniture designer Shaun Kasperbauer. From the designer’s website:

“The Bubble chandelier was inspired by the shape of soap bubbles. It is constructed of 2 liter soda bottles and the shadows cast by the chandelier mimic the cell-like shape that soap bubbles take. The bottles are connected by hand with small bolts. By utilizing post-consumer packaging, each chandelier upcycles sixty plastic bottles. The resulting piece emphasizes the beauty of materials which are commonly thought of as quite ordinary.”
