Happy colors

Architecture & Interiors

A team of two product designers, Scholten and Baijings, has produced a portfolio of crafted objects in an assortment of natural and bright hues, high contrast graphics with an unique eye for details. Their process starts with materials and colors and then moves to the form and design concept.

For the textile pieces, color inspiration originates from the vegetables raw material. The couple’s color plaid pillows and throws in cheerful and bright combinations of hues are produced by a Dutch mill.

Their willow collection has been dyed with a contemporary color palette.

These two artists with an original design sensibility possess an eye for color, material and finish and clearly create engaging products, furniture and interiors.
