Pattern: Camilla Meijer’s Victoria

Art & Design

We’ve never been too into flowery prints. After all, florals rarely have a place in the truly modernist of modern interiors. But every now and then we come across a pattern made up of flowers (and other natural elements) that really leaves us stunned, and Camilla Meijer’s “Victoria” pattern is one of them.

We’re crushing hard on this London-based, Swedish wallpaper designer, and as we mentioned, particularly of her “Victoria” pattern. Full-bodied, detailed, lush and large scale, “Victoria” dares anyone to call floral patterns too girly.

Though this pattern comes in a few different color lines, we love it the most in red. What do you think? Is Victoria your favorite pattern of Camilla’s? Or do you have another favorite? Let us know in the comments!

Thank you so much for bringing this to my attention. I recommending using wallpaper (in a temporary way) for my birthday party themes. You know, you want to have an Asian inspired party, which the red version above would totally work with—picture large orange koi on top, but your walls are god forbid white and don’t add to the concept at all. All you have to do is by a roll or remnant of wall paper and tack it up for the evening.
