After studying furniture design at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College in the UK, industrial designer Marina Bautier set up shop in her home town of Brussels. Since establishing her studio in 2003, she’s designed for companies all over the world, including Swedese (SE), Idée (JP), Ligne Roset (FR), Case Furniture (UK) and Feld (BE).
One of my favorite pieces is the Cruiser Chair, a folding lounge chair made of oak and steel, which was designed for Swedese in 2009. Her entire portfolio is impressive, though, so be sure to check it out here.

I agree! It’s interesting to see her distinct style come out over the years (the images above cover some of her work from 2006 – 2010).
