Joon & Jung are the kinds of emerging designers we really love to promote, because just looking at their work gives you an infusion of creativity and inspires you to create. Unfortunately, unless you’re as brilliant as Joon & Jung, you might not end up creating things as gorgeous and as clever as them. But you can try.
We don’t even know where to start when it comes to choosing which project to highlight as evidence that they are going to be the next big thing, almost guaranteed. There’s the awesome craggy-like creature on blue spikes that may or may not be a piece of furniture (a sculpture, really). There’s the modern re-take of a rocking chair. Or that alarm clock made out of paper. Or maybe our favorite, the architect’s curtain that surrounds oneself in the gorgeous linework of hand drawn architect’s sketches.
The point is, this sort of varied approach to the design world is the exact sort of thing that the design world needs: a fresh look at design problems and solutions to things you didn’t even know were a problem. The fact that all their products are gorgeous doesn’t hurt, either. Check out more of their work here.
