Winter months bringing you down? Feeling like all you see around you are the whites, grays and browns of the colder months? Aching for the bright and festive color palettes of summer and spring? You might need to take a visit to today’s featured well-designed restaurant, Poncho #8.
“Gourmet” and “burrito” don’t normally go together, and least of all in London, but by golly, some sassy restaurateurs decided to open up Poncho #8 to serve tastier and healthier versions of this Mexican favorite. While we can vouch for the gourmet-ness or the tastiness of the food, we can absolutely guarantee the interior is delicious.
We can’t decide what we love more about this restaurant designed by clever firm Something From Us. Is it the subway map-ish art on the walls? The modern herringbone design on the floor? The crazy and dizzying bold and bright color palette? The simple and modern way it was all put together? The answer: all of it. And we’re not the only one’s crazy for Poncho or the work from Something From Us; they’ve been featured in such publications as Dwell, Elle Decor, Contemporist and more.

I am definitely going to have to visit here when I visit London in a few weeks. I wonder if I’m subconsciously choosing London locale’s because I just want to research all the hip stops before I go!
